Group Therapy

  • Are you having a difficult time handling the struggles in your life?
  • Could you use a non-judgmental ear to listen, somebody who really understands what you're going through?
  • Do you really need to talk to somebody, but you don't know who would be willing to listen?
  • Do you wish you had more of a sense of community in your life, instead of feeling alone?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then group therapy could be the solution you've been seeking. Group therapy differs from individual therapy by holding therapeutic sessions in a group setting run by a therapist instead of in a private one-on-one setting with a therapist. In these group sessions, patients share their thoughts and experiences with the whole group, allowing them to support one another while being supported by a group of people who understand what they're going through.

If you've been feeling hopeless or alone lately, or struggling with a problem in your life that feels unsurmountable, group therapy could help you improve your everyday life. Group therapy helps you find a sense of community with others who are going through similar things as you while giving you access to valuable therapy that can truly help you feel better.

Diverse group of people in a supportive therapy circle

So if any of these sound like you…

  • You keep worrying about the same problem over and over
  • You wish you could trust someone with your secret struggle
  • You want to stop feeling so alone in what you're going through
  • You're interested in therapy, but want to try something lower pressure than individual therapy
  • You wish you felt more understood by others
  • You're looking for expert help improving your life

…then group therapy could be right for you. Group therapy's effectiveness lies in its ability to help you find connections with other people and their experiences. These therapist-guided sessions will help you learn more about yourself and how to improve the way you feel while feeling support from others who understand your experience.

Why group therapy?

You are not alone

One of the most powerful moments in group therapy is realizing that others share your experience. That recognition alone can lift years of shame and isolation.

Real-world practice

Groups give you a live space to practice new ways of communicating, setting boundaries, and relating to others — with real feedback in real time.

Multiple perspectives

Hearing how others have navigated similar challenges opens up possibilities you may not have considered. Group members often become each other's most meaningful teachers.

Affordable care

Group therapy is typically more accessible than individual sessions, making consistent, quality mental health support available to more people.

Groups we offer

We run several ongoing groups throughout the year. Each group is led by myself or one of my team members and limited in size to ensure every member feels seen and heard.

Anxiety and depression

For adults navigating the weight of anxiety, depression, or both. This group focuses on building coping skills, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, and finding connection with others who understand the daily effort it takes to keep going.

Trauma-focused

A carefully held space for survivors of trauma to process their experiences, reduce shame, and build resilience alongside others on a similar path. This group is trauma-informed and paced with safety in mind.

Neurodivergent support

For adults who are ADHD, autistic, or otherwise neurodivergent. This group explores the unique challenges and strengths of neurodivergent life, from navigating relationships and work to building self-understanding and community.

Women's group

A supportive space for women to explore identity, relationships, stress, and the many roles they carry. This group offers a place to be honest about the pressures of womanhood and to find strength in shared experience.

Teen group

Designed for adolescents navigating the challenges of growing up, social pressure, identity, anxiety, family dynamics, and more. Teens often find it easier to open up when they know their peers are facing similar things.

Men's group

A space where men can speak openly about mental health, relationships, identity, and the pressures they carry, without judgment. This group challenges the idea that strength means silence, and builds a different kind of connection.

Meet the therapists

All of our therapists facilitate groups and bring the same warmth and expertise they offer in individual sessions.
